The Greenburgh Nature Center is seeking your help in a bid to get a new orchard.

The nature center is a finalist in the Communities Take Root competition, created by Edy’s Fruit Bars and the nonprofit Fruit Tree Planting Foundation to provide fruit orchards to organizations across the United States to encourage healthy eating and build strong community relationships.

You can make the orchard a reality for the nature center by going to

CommunitiesTakeRoot.com and casting one vote every day until Aug. 31.
